Different Ways To Choose Quality Feline Furniture

By Robert Baker

It's true, there are plenty of places your kitty will find in order to solve their needs, and there's a good chance that it's not the one you would prefer that they play on, rest on, or scratch on. You can find quality cat furniture in many places, but before purchasing, take your kitty's personality into consideration.

There are several types of habitats made for your little kitty, but thinking about what type of personality he has will make you and your friend happier. There are some built for relaxing in high places so they can see their surroundings. You will want these if you find your feline on top of the fridge, or finding privacy in your upper closet.

For these types, choose a piece that offers high resting areas that are easily climbed and secure. Meaning won't fall over on them if they get a little rambunctious going up. These usually are carpet covered to solicit an easy climb and may have several stages to lay on. Often known as Cat Trees.

If you have a playful one, look for one that has a bit more action involved. Perhaps they'll climb to a stage to play with a toy, maybe it's an enclosed cube at the top, or even, has various in and out areas.

Then there is the serious playful type that will like a variety of different types that may actually be considered toys. How about a strong box type that they can jump in and out of, a sleeping sack that they can go in and roll around in, or perhaps it's one of those battery operated types that have your kitty running in circles chasing something.

Quality cat furniture can be found at your local pet store, and on line as well. Just be sure you take the personality of your feline into consideration so you get the toy that fits them and not one they won't touch.
